This thing is so cool, most of the time the only other tool you need is a screw gun. He invented it for our portrait business because we were always hanging pictures for our clients. The Pro Hanger allows you to raise a picture or a piece of framed art up the wall, leave it there, step back and see if that’s the place where you want it. It’s a one man, or one woman, job. If you don’t like the placement, you simply slide it up or down, left or right, and then stand back and see what you think. Once you’ve got it in the right spot. You remove the piece, use the marker to indicate the drill hole and your done. It’s a dream for those who like to "eye ball" things. If you are married to someone who is more calculating, stroke their ego by getting out a measuring tape and run some numbers. I’ve done that myself.
The Pro Hanger makes the laser level obsolete. (Besides, if you’ve ever used a laser, it doesn’t tell you where to drill the holes, only where the top of the frame is.)
