We get the question all of the time "What is the right way to frame a piece of art? Are there rules about the size of matting or framing?" There is no right way. Look at these two custom framed pieces - what's the difference between these two? A client brought in this amazing piece of artwork by Christina Lihan Studio, and we were just blown away. THE FRAME STUDIO custom framed it simply with a black shadow box frame and added a rustic wood fillet to bring in the all wood feel of the Mai-Kai's beautiful decor, and used Museum Glass to help see this beauty without the glare of the Florida sun. A client brought in this large Ashley Longshore silk scarf for custom framing - sometimes scarves cannot be fully admired when they are tied around your neck. Working with THE FRAME STUDIO, the client chose a really WOW framing combo stacking two mirrored frames together to get a very 1920's Gatsby feel. We had a hard time letting this beauty leave the shop!

Two of our clients are huge Dead Heads, and they brought in this signed double album "Reckoning" that they wanted THE FRAME STUDIO to custom frame. Yes, we can do that! We worked together to come up with a framing combination that accentuated the cover art, while also making sure to show the vinyl. Memories of the War

When our client brought her father-in-law's WWII memorabilia in to THE FRAME STUDIO, she told us it was very special to him. We made sure to treat it as such when we custom framed his medals, letter, and photograph.
